A Wall Graphic that Sings From the Rafters.
We were so excited to be able to help Newcroft Primary Academy make a real splash in its quirky, octagonal music room! We love the results of this incredible revamp - it perfectly exemplifies the vibrancy that music brings to our lives.
Saying goodbye to the drab, outdated music room of the past, our amazing team completely transformed Newcroft Primary Academy's music room into a dazzling blend of colours and energy, practically begging students to dive into the world of musical self-expression. The design uses the segments of this uniquely shaped room to showcase one of the six curriculum topics of Pulse, Rhythm, Pitch, Structure, Technology and Voice. We were asked to make it vibrant and colourful, which we did using a bright palette of purples and oranges.
The complexity of the space meant that our design team had a real challenge ensuring that the creative and content would translate, whilst the production team had to figure out which materials we needed to use in each section. We used a combination of vinyl, wallboards and wallpaper products to bring the design to life. With space at a premium in this compact room, we also needed to consider the furniture, so our solution included wrapping some shelves and cupboards to help them blend into the overall scheme without the school losing any precious storage space.
A Peek Behind the Scenes
